How to Fix a Cyclic Redundancy Check Error

A Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) is an error checking technique used by computers, specifically the hard drives or optical disks (i.e DVD/CD). A Cyclic Redundancy Check error is caused when data on the hard-drive or DVD becomes corrupt.

   Check the cause. In the case the CRC error was thrown by the hard drive, the cause is likely data being incorrectly written to the hard drive. This can be caused by either the operating system being corrupt, or a power loss.

   To fix a hard disk CRC error, run the CHKDSK application. In the "My Computer" folder, right click the affected hard drive and click properties.

   (In most of the cases this doesn't work because from GUI It won't show all the properties of the disk; It will end-up without doing any disk check. The alternative to this step is execute commands from command prompt as below:
   • 1. Run CMD as an Administrator
     
   • 2. type chkdsk G: /f /r ( 'G' signifies the affected Drive).
     
   • 3. Run DiskPart utility from the same command prompt type DiskPart
     
   • 4. Once utility is loaded run "rescan" command. This command locates new disks that might have been added to the computer.
     
   • 5. Hopefully problem would be resolved and you would be able to explore your disk.

   'My Computer' -> Manage -> Event Management -> Application logs.

   Enter the "Tools" tab and click the "Check Now" button. A small windows will appear, make sure the "Automatically check for filesystem errors" box and the "Find and repair bad sectors" box is checked. Then click start.

   Note when it can't be fixed. In the case that an optical disk (i.e., a DVD/BD/CD disk) is reporting a CRC error, there is no way to fix this. If you burned data to the disk yourself, try burning said data to another disk, this time at a lower speed. 4x is the recommended speed, especially when burning operating systems (i.e an Ubuntu LiveCD) to a disk. The higher the speed at which the data is burned, the higher the chances errors may be written to the disk.

Mengatasi Kapasitas Flashdisk Yang Hilang

Pernahkah Anda mengalami kapasitas di flash disk Anda berkurang??? Tidak tau penyebab pastinya atau apa masalahnya tiba-tiba kapasitas di Flash Disk berkurang secara tiba-tiba, ajaib bukan. Akan tetapi Fenomena ini pastinya tidak anda inginkan karena kapasitas Flash disk Anda berkurang mungkin jika bertambah itu membuat Anda senang.. haha.

Saya sendiri pun tidak tahu mengapa kapasitas di flash disk tiba-tiba berkurang, tetapi hal ini pernah saya alami. Saya memiliki Flash disk Kapasitas 8 GB pada saat itu saya mencoba bereksperiment alias coba-coba membuat Boot USB sebuah OS Crome Flow, meskipun tidak berhasil dan menyebabkan kapasitas flash disk saya hilang secara misterius. hihih

Saya terkejut saat melihat properties Di Flash Disk yang sebenarnya 8 GB hanya tersisa 256MB kemanakah yang 7,xx GB?? Apakah di bawa kabur oleh Gayus Tambuanan :D tentunya tidak. Nah Pertolongan pertama pastinya adalah Format Flash disk berharap kapasitas di Flash Disk saya bisa kembali.. Tanpa basa-basi saya Format Flash disk saya tetapi dengan Cara Biasa yaitu klik Kanan pada Drive Removeable Dan Format. .. .. .. Menunggu bebarapa Detik Format selesai. Kemudian saya cek kembali propertiesnya Nah apa yang terjadi??? ternyata tetap saja kapasitas di Flash disk 256MB. Wah saya mulai frustasi.. muter-muter sana-sini akhirnya ketemu juga obat yang jitu. 

Dengan Menggunakan USB FORMAT

Tools ini Kecil tetapi manjur.. jadi saya lakukan format Flash Disk menggunakan Tools Ini. Dan akhirnya Flash disk saya kembali normal Dengan kapasitas 8GB.

Update Galaxy Ace S5830 with Official Gingerbread 2.3.6 Value Pack XWKTM

Even though the Samsung Galaxy Ace is not a high end smartphone there are many Android users who own this handset, the affordable price tag and its decent specs, making the Ace one of the most popular Samsung phone. So, its users should be interested in installing the latest OS updates available not only for receiving the latest Android features but also to power up the performances of their devices.

As you know there are many ICS and Jelly Bean custom ROMs suitable for your Galaxy Ace, though not all the upgrades are being stable ones. That’s why you should always know how to update your Ace with an official or stock ROM. We will be checking on the same, as the official Gingerbread 2.3.6 value pack XWKTM software has been released by Samsung. Furthermore, because the mentioned platform has been offered only for limited countries, I will show you how to complete a manual operation from which you can learn how to apply the official Gingerbread update on your Galaxy Ace S5830.

How to Update Galaxy Ace S5830 with Official Gingerbread 2.3.6 Value Pack XWKTM

1. As mentioned above, the first thing to do is to download Odin and the required update file.
2. The download link for Odin and OPS is here.
3. The download link for the Gingerbread package is here.
4. Extract Odin and the update file on your PC.
5. On the computer open Odin.
6. Turn off your handset.
7. Reboot the Galaxy Ace in download mode.
8. For that press and hold the Volume Down Key and the OK button while pressing on the Power one.
9. As soon as the device is booted in download mode, you can then connect it with the computer by using its USB cord.
10. Once the phone is successfully connected, on Odin you should see the “added” message displayed and also the ID:COM section should be yellow now.
11. If not, try to reinstall the drivers on your PC and redo the above steps.
12. On Odin click on the “OPS” option and select “Cooper_v1.0.ops” and “One package”.
13. Click on the “One Package” tab and just select the update file which you have downloaded and extracted before (“S5830XWKTM_S5830OXXKT3_S5830XWKT7_HOME.tar.md5”).
14. Don’t make any other changes on Odin.
15. Click on “Start”.
16. Wait for the process to complete the update.
17. In the end the smartphone will reboot and on Odin you should see the “pass” message displayed.
18. You can now remove the USB cord.

Struktur Kepribadian Id, Ego dan Superego Sigmund Freud

Menurut teori psikoanalitik Sigmund Freud, kepribadian terdiri dari tiga elemen. Ketiga unsur kepribadian itu dikenal sebagai id, ego dan superego yang bekerja sama untuk menciptakan perilaku manusia yang kompleks.

1.  Id

Id adalah satu-satunya komponen kepribadian yang hadir sejak lahir. Aspek kepribadian sepenuhnya sadar dan termasuk dari perilaku naluriah dan primitif. Menurut Freud, id adalah sumber segala energi psikis, sehingga komponen utama kepribadian.

Id didorong oleh prinsip kesenangan, yang berusaha untuk kepuasan segera dari semua keinginan, keinginan, dan kebutuhan. Jika kebutuhan ini tidak puas langsung, hasilnya adalah kecemasan negara atau ketegangan.

Sebagai contoh, peningkatan rasa lapar atau haus harus menghasilkan upaya segera untuk makan atau minum. id ini sangat penting awal dalam hidup, karena itu memastikan bahwa kebutuhan bayi terpenuhi. Jika bayi lapar atau tidak nyaman, ia akan menangis sampai tuntutan id terpenuhi.

Namun, segera memuaskan kebutuhan ini tidak selalu realistis atau bahkan mungkin. Jika kita diperintah seluruhnya oleh prinsip kesenangan, kita mungkin menemukan diri kita meraih hal-hal yang kita inginkan dari tangan orang lain untuk memuaskan keinginan kita sendiri. 2.   Ego

Ego adalah komponen kepribadian yang bertanggung jawab untuk menangani dengan realitas. Menurut Freud, ego berkembang dari id dan memastikan bahwa dorongan dari id dapat dinyatakan dalam cara yang dapat diterima di dunia nyata. Fungsi ego baik di pikiran sadar, prasadar, dan tidak sadar.

3.   Superego

Komponen terakhir untuk mengembangkan kepribadian adalah superego. superego adalah aspek kepribadian yang menampung semua standar internalisasi moral dan cita-cita yang kita peroleh dari kedua orang tua dan masyarakat – kami rasa benar dan salah. Superego memberikan pedoman untuk membuat penilaian.

Ada dua bagian superego:

Yang ideal ego mencakup aturan dan standar untuk perilaku yang baik. Perilaku ini termasuk orang yang disetujui oleh figur otoritas orang tua dan lainnya. Mematuhi aturan-aturan ini menyebabkan perasaan kebanggaan, nilai dan prestasi.

Hati nurani mencakup informasi tentang hal-hal yang dianggap buruk oleh orang tua dan masyarakat. Perilaku ini sering dilarang dan menyebabkan buruk, konsekuensi atau hukuman perasaan bersalah dan penyesalan. Superego bertindak untuk menyempurnakan dan membudayakan perilaku kita. Ia bekerja untuk menekan semua yang tidak dapat diterima mendesak dari id dan perjuangan untuk membuat tindakan ego atas standar idealis lebih karena pada prinsip-prinsip realistis. Superego hadir dalam sadar, prasadar dan tidak sadar.

Interaksi dari Id, Ego dan superego

Dengan kekuatan bersaing begitu banyak, mudah untuk melihat bagaimana konflik mungkin timbul antara ego, id dan superego. Freud menggunakan kekuatan ego istilah untuk merujuk kepada kemampuan ego berfungsi meskipun kekuatan-kekuatan duel. Seseorang dengan kekuatan ego yang baik dapat secara efektif mengelola tekanan ini, sedangkan mereka dengan kekuatan ego terlalu banyak atau terlalu sedikit dapat menjadi terlalu keras hati atau terlalu mengganggu.

Menurut Freud, kunci kepribadian yang sehat adalah keseimbangan antara id, ego, dan superego.

Membuat Style Tetesan Air

Langkah-langkah untuk membuat Efek Tetesan Air

Langkah 1

Jalankan program Photoshop buka sebuah gambar yang ingin di beri efek tetesan air, pada tutorial kali ini saya gunakan sebuah gambar daun pisang. Kalian juga bisa menggunakan gambar lain.

Langkah 2

pada gambar tersebut, buatlah sebuah seleksi dengan tool seleksi, misalnya Eliptical Marque Tool atau yang lain. Pada contoh tutorial kali ini, saya buat sebuah seleksi dengan bentuk oval (elips). Seleksinya tidak usah besar-besar, kecil saja aja.

Langkah 3

Setelah seleksinya jadi, buat sebuah layer baru. Dengan mengklik icon New Layer di palet layer. Seperti gambar dibawah ini.

Langkah 4

Isi layer baru tadi dengan warna hitam seukuran seleksi tadi. Caranya dengan memilih menu Edit => Fill. Pada bagian Use pilihlah black.

Langkah 5

HIlangkan seleksinya, lakukan dengan memilih menu Select => Deselect.

Langkah 6

Pada palet layer, aturlah agar Fill opacity menjadi minimal.

Langkah 7

Pilih menu Layer => Layer Style => Drop shadow.

Buat pengaturan-nya seperti gambar berikut. Jangan klik Ok-nya dulu.

Langkah 8

Masih dalam kotak dialog layer style, pilihlah Inner Shadow. Buat pengaturan-nya seperti di bawah ini. jangan klik Ok dulu.

Langkah 9

Masih tetap di kotak dialog layer style, pilih Inner Glow, lakukan seperti gambar dibawah ini.

Langkah 10

Bertahan di kotak dialog layer style, pilih Bevel and Emboss. Atur pengaturan-nya seperti gamabr dibawah.

Langkah 11

Sekarang efek-efek ini akan kita simpan. Caranya dengan memilih/mengklik tombol New Style.

Kemudian saat muncul kotak dialog New Style, isikanlah nama yang Anda inginkan, misalnya dalam tutorial ini saya beri nama Tetesan Air, kemudian klik OK.

Setelah ini, silahkan diklik OK pada kotak dialog Layer Style (sebenarnya sejak langkah 7 – 9, bisa juga langsung di OK, namun akan lebih mudah jika baru sekarang ngeklik OK-nya).

Sekarang kita sudah mempunyai sebuah layer style yang siang digunakan untuk membuat efek tetesan air.

Untuk mencoba style ini, pada foto yang kita olah tadi, buatlah seleksi seperti dibawah ini. Seleksi ini dibuat dengan eliptical marque (sama seperti langkah ke-2). Namun jumlahnya kita buat banyak (pastikan Anda sambil menekan tombol Shift saat membuat seleksi ini).

Lakukan lagi langkah 3,4 dan 5.

Setelah itu klik icon Style Tetesan Air yang berada di palet Style.

Berikut ini adalah gambar yang telah kita beri efek Tetesan Air dengan Style-nya Photoshop.

Create Creepy, Branch Based Typography

Final Image

As always, this is the final image that we’ll be creating:

Step 1

Create a new document (800X600px).

Drag out a radial gradient ranging from f8f8f8 to e0e0e0 on your background layer:

Paste in your bark texture:

Now apply a hue/saturation adjustment layer. Be sure to apply a clipping mask (layer>create clipping mask), so that your adjustment layer only effects your underlying bark layer.

Now return to your bark texture layer. Reduce it’s opacity to 30%, and change it’s blend mode to ‘overlay’.

Step 3

Now download the abstract lights brush set from the resources for this tutorial.

Create a new layer called ‘brush marks 1′.

Apply several of the brush marks (using a black paintbrush). Then change this layer’s blend mode to ‘overlay’ and reduce it’s opacity to 80%.

Step 4

Now apply a couple more layers, applying more black brush marks, and then some white ones. The idea is just to layer up your background effect:

Now apply some text in the center of your canvas. The text can say whatever you want, but in this case I’ve just typed out the letters ‘PSD’. The font is not important, but it’s easier if you use a legible, bold font:

Now cut out and paste in your branches from the branch photos in the resources for this tutorial. Keep these images on separate layers, so that you can easily paste them onto subsequent layers:

Paste your tree photo into the bottom left of your canvas, positioning it against the bottom of your P letter.

Now we want to make our tree more stylized to fit with our overall composition. Apply a color overlay blending option to your tree layer, and then apply a hue/saturation adjustment layer (being sure to apply a clipping mask to it).

Color Overlay Blending Option Setting:

Blend Mode: Normal
Color: 000000
Opacity: 65%

Hue/Saturation Adjustment Layer Settings:

Hue: 0
Saturation: -100
Lightness: 0

Step 8

Now we want to start morphing our branch images to fit to our letters. To do this we’re going to use the puppet warp tool. Position the branch roughly over your letter, and then go to edit>puppet warp. Warp the branch to fit around part of your letter:

This is how your composition looks once you’ve warped several branches to cover all your letters. With each branch layer, be sure to apply the same color overlay blending option and hue/saturation adjustment layer as your original branch layer.

Here is the composition with the original type layer hidden:

Now create a new layer called ‘brush marks over letters’. Select your abstract marks brush again, and apply your brushes over your letters, applying a subtle frayed edge effect:

A quick tip when applying your brushes is to rotate your brush marks where necessary. Brush sets may not always be at the correct angle to follow the contours of your layers, so you can easily alter the angle of your brushes to fit. Simply open up your brushes panel, and change the angle option (see below):

Now create a new layer called ‘highlights’.

Drag out several white to transparent radial gradients over the tops of your letters.

Then change this layer’s blend mode to ‘overlay’ and reduce it’s opacity to 40%.

Step 13

Now paste in your crow photo from the resources for this tutorial.

Position it on top of one of your letters, and then apply a color overlay blending option:

Color: 000000
Opacity: 65%.

Now apply a final levels adjustment layer in order to add extra contrast to your composition.
